H&M Did It Again!

After being so impressed with the H&M pressed eyes shadows i thought it was time to take a closer look at the rest of their beauty section and i came across their ''cream'' eye shadows,and i must say they are pretty damn good!

They are not really a cream more like a mousse, and do feel a little bit vaseline-ish to the touch.
However they have great pigmentation, some more pigmented then others but very easy to build up.

They do last for good amount of time and are fantastic to use as a base.
No creasing and blend very easily.

When i used them as a base i had them one for about 7-8 hours and there was no creasing,
my powder eye shadows stayed put and looked just as good when i took them off as when i applied them.

Used alone i did started to notice around the 5 hour mark that they started to fade, 
but they did fade very evenly and kind of looked like a more sheer version of the color.
But again no creasing, which is the main thing i don't want my eye shadow to do.

They didn't transfer either.
Dry down to a powder finish, takes about a minute i would say.

I have to say i did find them a little bit hard to remove off my eyes so i do recommend using an oil based eye makeup remover.

So overall i'm very happy with them :D

They have 10 shades available and i got them all..oh yes i did!

H&M has really stepped up their makeup game and i am super impressed,
the next thing on my list to try from them are the lipsticks and nail polishes and i can't wait!

Getting Gym Ready?

Hey loves x

I feel like it's that time of the year again, where people are starting to going to the gym, eating healthier.
Getting ready for Christmas and New years.

I decided to jump on the band wagon, why not?.
I want to try to go to the gym maybe 2-3 times a week. I think that's realistic.
Also i want to have it written down so that i'm more likely to actually stick to it.

I personally don't like the whole idea of a '' quick fix '' as usually you just gain it all back, i'm definitely in it for the long run, but i wouldn't mind dropping a few Lbs.

So i went and got some new work out clothes

I Started by getting some new shoes, i'm Nike crazy and not sure how many pair of shoes i have from them but of course felt like i needed new ones lol.
So i got these two pairs while i was away in Denmark.

These are so comfortable, it feels like you don't even have shoes on.
So light and i could wear them all day! Would highly recommend that you checked these out if you haven't, i think these retail in the UK for about £70 a pair, not too bad.

I also got some new tights, 3 pairs from Nike (of course).
They are a repurchase as mine were literally about to fall part. Very much needed.
If i'm not mistaken they retail again in the UK for about £25-30 ish ? Depending on where you buy them. I got 3 of the same one just because i love them that much!

As far as a '' diet '' goes, i Personally like to stick to a low carb diet for a few Reasons.
(But of course i do Allow myself do indulge in a cake or ice cream Every now and then.)

1. I feel like i get fuller and that i don't have to eat as much or as often.
2. I eat my three meals a day plus snacks if i feel like it, but where as i was eating alot of carbs
i was eating throughout the entire day, snack here snack there. And They usually were a chocolate bar, crisps etc.
3. I have more energy.
4. Believe it or not my sleeping is better, i fall asleep at normal hours and get up fresh in the morning.
5. My skin got so much better.
6. My weight becomes stable.

These are some of the Many Reasons Why I Choose a low carb diet.
But again it's not for everyone, it's a personal preference.

One thing also, never force yourself to do anything you do not want to.
If you are not a gym person, do not go!
Do not let Anybody tell you That you are this or the other. Only YOU Decide what's best for you.
And please !! I know Christmas is right around the corner but do not do Any fad Diets; lose 10lbs in 5 days! I know its Tempting and belive me i have been there, done that.
But is it realistic? No it is not, it will come right back on after Christmas dinner.
Take it slow and steady start by making small changes and you Will see results.
It may take a little longer but you Will get there, just be patient <3

Fall Favorites x

I think it's time for my fall favorites, but to be honest i have so many!
I decided to limit my self to my top 10, so here we go;

First off is my River Island leather jacket i got from Nelly.The quality is great for the price, it's very comfortable and it looks good with almost anything.

Can definitely be dressed up or worn casually.

The fur is surprisingly nice and very warm.

The sizes are normal, i ordered my size and it fit's great, it's not bulky

which is a good thing since i'm very short (lol).

Feminine and form fitting.

The price for the jacket is £78.46 .. not bad at all!

(The jacket seems to be sold out on Nelly, so check ASOS River Island Jacket )

This jumpsuit is probably my favorite clothing item that i have gotten in a long time.

Very form fitting,tight,and shows off your curves *-*

When i first saw it online, it looked very ''open'' i mean yes it is, but it's not as flashy 

as i thought. Beautiful army/olive green color, totally in for fall, the price tag is

£34 (approx) and i got it from Bubbleroom.

My oh so loved YSL Tuxedo eye shadow palette *-*

The packaging is beautiful in a sleek black case, with the gold YSL logo on the front.

The eye shadows are so soft, smooth and blend very easily.

A great range of neutral colors, mat and shimmers. It also comes with a double-sided brush that

is actually usable.

I got mine from Selfridges and the price is £49.

Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Midnight Plum.

This is my favorite lipstick at the moment, very pigmented, creamy and lasts

for a good amount of time. I got mine at Superdrug for £6.99

This is not just a fall favorite but more like my all time favorite foundation, so i had to include it.

This is the DIOR Skin Nude foundation, i have been using it for over 5 years now, and gone trough many bottles. For my dry skin this is a amazing. It has a medium coverage,definitely buildable 

up to a full coverage. Glides on and blends into the skin like a dream.

Wears for good 8-10 hours. 

Will be dedicating a full blog post to this foundation soon, giving you a more in depth review and swatches. 

The price is £32.50 and i get mine from Debenhams

A gorgeous highlighter from Makeup Revolution, amazing value for the money.

Smooth and lasts all day long. My favorite shade is the golden one, 

i use it almost daily. It brings that glow we all want to my face as i have very dry skin.

Highly recommend it. I get mine from Superdrug for only £3! What a bargain.

 OPI Lincoln park after dark. My favorite fall/winter nail polish for the past 2 or 3 years.

A beautiful deep purple. In some lighting it almost looks black.

Dark and vampy.

I get mine from Beautybay and the price is £8.75

Embryolisse lait-Creme.

My favorite face cream to put on before i apply my foundation.

Works wonderful as a primer, the cream is very light and absorbs into the sking very quickly,

and at the same time it feels very moisturizing. The price ranges from £10.36 - £16

and can be bought from Beautybay .

I can't belive it, my favorite scent of all time is back in stores and online.

Christmas cookie by Yankee Candle.

Such a delicious scent, the candle it self lasts long, and the scent lingers for days.

Love it! I get mine from Yankee Candle and the price range from  £1.80 to  £21.99

Netflix, yes!!! Do i need to say more?

Easy And Delicious Fudge Brownies

I have had a pretty chilled weekend, met some family, went shopping and relaxed.

And tomorrow is MONDAY - . - eeehh,  i have to say that is my least favorite day of the week.

So to make sure i enjoy my Sunday to the fullest i decided to make these delicious fudge brownies, these are so easy to make, the next thing you know you'll be running to your kitchen to make a batch.

Let's get started!

In this household we like to enjoy our brownies with some whipped cream on the side.

So the first thing i do is to start whipping my cream, i decided to do it by hand this time

as i need the extra cardio before i dig into the brownis, lol! Then i throw it in the fridge and start on the brownie batter.

Here is what you'll need :

145g unsalted butter

250g granulated sugar

65g unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

70g all-purpose flour

And this is how it's done

Start by preheating your oven to 170C, get your pan out and ready, spray it with a non-stick cooking spray or you can also line the pan with parchment paper.

Start by taking a medium sized saucepan an add about enough water to cover the bottom of the saucepan and a tad more (3-5cm), let the water heat for a moment until it start bubbling not a full simmer.

Then combine butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a medium sized bowl (heat safe bowl)

Put the bowl over the simmering water, stir the mixture until the butter has melted.

It may not look like much at this stage but once you add the remaining ingredients it will all come together.

Remove the bowl, and set aside for a few minutes to let it cool, make sure its not super hot but just warm.

After thats all done put in the vanilla extract and eggs.

When everything is well blended and the batter starts becoming thick it's time to slowly add the flour, give the batter a final mix and voila! 

Your batter should look something like this.

You are done, now all you have left is pouring your delicious batter into the pan, and from there to the oven.

And in she goes *-*

I baked mine at 170C for about 25 minutes.

Now while you wait you can go ahead and start cleaning that mess. (at least that's what i did,lol)

Now i'm going to sit down on my sofa, enjoy my brownies and watch some TV*-*

Welcome to my NEW blog ( + H&M eyeshadows swatches and mini review )

Hey hun , and welcome to my new blog xx

I am so excited about these incredible eye shadows i found at H&M earlier this week so i will definitely save the awkward ; about me moment for later and just get straight to the point. ;-)

It was just few weeks ago that H&M launched their new and improved makeup collection.

I had the chance on Monday to finally go into store and take a look and i must say i was very impressed.

I remember back in the day when i used to go and look at their products how much it reminded me of the makeup we all had when we were 5 , let’s be real but oh man that has changed.

The packaging is average , cream and gold plastic with the H&M logo on the front , I am not complaining at all but it could be nicer.

Very light weight and feels a little bit ‘’cheap’’ but for the price of the shadows I’m happy.

As far as price they are very affordable and retail for £4.99 for a single eye shadow.

Their colour selection is fantastic , they have nudes to pinks and everything in between. ( Must also say that the display was very nice as well )

They are so smooth to the touch , almost buttery.

Not powdery at all, I had no fall outs.

Very pigmented with and without a primer.

I would say with no primer you would probably get a good 6 hours wear out of them.

I started to notice a little fading about 6 hours ( no primer ) after I first applied the eye shadows , which I must say is fantastic and I did not expect that at all.

With primer I had them on for about 10 hours before I took my make up off but I must say they looked very good by the end of the night.

I hope this gave you an idea of the quality, i would definitely recommend them to anybody, i can almost guarantee you that they have the colors you want.
You also have chance to try out more colours as they are very affordable.
Fantastic value for your money.

With that being said i got 9 shadows , and it was so hard to choose because they were all so beautiful but i had to have some self control ;-)
