I feel like it's that time of the year again, where people are starting to going to the gym, eating healthier.
Getting ready for Christmas and New years.
I decided to jump on the band wagon, why not?.
I want to try to go to the gym maybe 2-3 times a week. I think that's realistic.
Also i want to have it written down so that i'm more likely to actually stick to it.
I personally don't like the whole idea of a '' quick fix '' as usually you just gain it all back, i'm definitely in it for the long run, but i wouldn't mind dropping a few Lbs.
So i went and got some new work out clothes
I Started by getting some new shoes, i'm Nike crazy and not sure how many pair of shoes i have from them but of course felt like i needed new ones lol.
So i got these two pairs while i was away in Denmark.
These are so comfortable, it feels like you don't even have shoes on.
So light and i could wear them all day! Would highly recommend that you checked these out if you haven't, i think these retail in the UK for about £70 a pair, not too bad.
I also got some new tights, 3 pairs from Nike (of course).
They are a repurchase as mine were literally about to fall part. Very much needed.
If i'm not mistaken they retail again in the UK for about £25-30 ish ? Depending on where you buy them. I got 3 of the same one just because i love them that much!
As far as a '' diet '' goes, i Personally like to stick to a low carb diet for a few Reasons.
(But of course i do Allow myself do indulge in a cake or ice cream Every now and then.)
1. I feel like i get fuller and that i don't have to eat as much or as often.
2. I eat my three meals a day plus snacks if i feel like it, but where as i was eating alot of carbs
i was eating throughout the entire day, snack here snack there. And They usually were a chocolate bar, crisps etc.
3. I have more energy.
4. Believe it or not my sleeping is better, i fall asleep at normal hours and get up fresh in the morning.
5. My skin got so much better.
6. My weight becomes stable.
These are some of the Many Reasons Why I Choose a low carb diet.
But again it's not for everyone, it's a personal preference.
One thing also, never force yourself to do anything you do not want to.
If you are not a gym person, do not go!
Do not let Anybody tell you That you are this or the other. Only YOU Decide what's best for you.
And please !! I know Christmas is right around the corner but do not do Any fad Diets; lose 10lbs in 5 days! I know its Tempting and belive me i have been there, done that.
But is it realistic? No it is not, it will come right back on after Christmas dinner.
Take it slow and steady start by making small changes and you Will see results.
It may take a little longer but you Will get there, just be patient <3
